Playful humpback whales!
The weather was a bit rough today, but the whales didn’t seem to mind it, they were in a great mood!
On our first tour we spotted 6 humpback whales. At one point we were observing one humpback whale when all of the sudden we realized that there was something going on behind the boat. We turned the boat and saw a humpback whale rolling around and slapping its fluke and flippers! Soon we realized that this was not only one humpback whale, these were two humpback whales feeding together and playing around right next to the boat. Just amazing!
Our second tour was great as well, we spotted some white beaked dolphins and a humpback whale. The humpback gave us a great show and came up really close to the boat.
Even though the weather could have been better, the passangers were really happy and told us that the rain and the wind just made the experience better. They did admit though that they were really thankful for the overalls that we have on board and for the hot chocolate that we served on the way back.
