A wonderful surprise!

We began the trip this morning by heading out towards the beautiful Mountains of Creeks. On our way we saw several white beaked dolphins playing around and a few minke whales as well. When we got closer to the mountains we were really lucky to see the blow from a humpback whale. Then we saw two more blows, so we had at least three humpbacks around us and all of them eager to show off their flukes. When the trip was coming to an end one of the humpbacks was slapping it’s flippers in the distance. It looked like a gesture that we should come over, so we did. When we got to the humpback it immediately took a deep dive, raising the fluke high in the air and after a several minutes came up breaching right next to the boat! It was a wonderful surprise and a great goodbye from the humpback. So it is definitely safe to say this trip was everything you can ask for!
