The Great Feeding goes on

Also today the conditions for whale watching in Skjálfandi Bay remained unchanged: The whales were easy to find, because they occurred not only close to the mountains but also in the middle and southern part of the bay.

We got impressive looks on several humpback whales. It was also very nice to see feeding minke whales between the bigger humpbacks.

On our second tour we also had the chance to observe four harbor porpoises playfully surfacing close to our boat. And on the last trip we even had a surprising encounter with a harbor seal in the western part of the bay.

So the dinner party goes on! This is whale watching non-stop! 😉
