It doesn't get any better….
Our tours today at 10:00 and 13:30 have probably been some of the best tours this season so far……amazing weather conditions and amazing whales!!!
The sea has been as flat as a mirror, the sun was shining and during the day we encountered four species of whales: On both trips we saw the humpback whale (1 of them on the tour at 10:00, 2 of them on the tour at 13:30), several minke whales and some nice white-beaked dolphins. On the tour at 13:30 we also spotted a small group of harbour porpoises as well.
The humpback, the minkes and the dolphins were all feeding in a small area close to the mountains among hundreds of seabirds and especially the feeding humpback whale as absolutely amazing to watch, coming up with the mouth open right next to our boat and allowing us to look into its mouth!!!
During the tour at 17:00 the wind was getting a little bit stronger, but we still managed to see two humpback whales and a few minke whales.
