Scoresbysund Greenland on schooner Opal

Now that the new schooner Opal has arrived in its new home port of Húsavík, after an excellent, jet somewhat stormy tour from Ebeltoft in Denmark via Scotland and the Faroe Islands,it is time to look at the plans for the summer.

 

Tours in Scoresbysund in NE-Greenland, longer tours along Iceland´s coast and special tours are on the agenda.

 

As soon as the ice retreats from NE-Greenland in the end of July – beginning of August, schooner Opal will be there ready for our week long tours in the biggest fjord in the world – Scoresbysund.

 

Fly to Constable Point in Scoresbysund and step abord Opal for the start of the tour, right from the airport. Enjoy sailing around Milne Land and visiting interesting places in the fjord. Hikes, outdoor activities and majestical nature. On longer tours Opal carries 12 passengers in 6 double/twin cabins.
