A great start to the season

The whale watching season started on a beautiful day today. Captain Hrólfur and his crew on MV Bjössi Sör, had already spotted the blows of bigger whales from ashore, yesterday. The tour was a

success, two Blue Whales where observed playing around in the in the southern breeze in Skjálfandi

Bay.

From the 1st of april we offer daily Húsavík Original Whalewatching (NS-1) tours at 10:00 and from the 15th there will be departures at 13:30 as well. On the 15th of april the Whales, Puffins and Sails (NS-2) tour will start with daily departures at 09:30.

Restaurant Gamli Baukur has also opened its doors and will be open daily from 11:30 – 20:00.
