27 successful whale watching tours in Akureyri

This is the first winter North Sailing offers whale watching tours from Akureyri. So far we have finished 27 successful tours sailing in the beautiful and sheltered fjord called Eyjafjörður and returned to Torfunes harbour in the centre of Akureyri with happy passengers who have enjoyed the sight of some remarkable humpbacks feeding in the arctic waters.

This tour does not only offer you the change to enjoy the sight of whales in their natural surroundings but also the beautiful scenery of Eyjafjordur during winter and the change of daylight which can be a spectacular sight and even Northern Lights if we are lucky!
