Three species in the snow
The last three days have still been very successful with the humpback and minke whales still playing the main role. But on two trips during these three days we also saw a single male killer whale, most likely one of the two orcas that have been around here last week – what a nice surprise!
Quite often we also saw groups of several humpback whales surfacing together, which is of course a very impressive sight when up to six humpback whales come up together, right next to the boat.
Today we have also had the first snow falling here in Húsavík, but of course that doesn’t stop us from going out whale watching :-).
