Humpbacks in the sun…..

The good whale watching conditions continued today as we once again had two successful trips.

On the morning tour we got some nice close-up encounters with the two most common species these days, the minke whales and the humpback whales.

In the afternoon the weather was getting even better and in really calm sea conditions and beautiful sunlight we encountered five humpback whales: Two humpback whale “couples” and one that was travelling alone.

We spent a wonderful time with one of the couples and as they were extremely calm, we also turned off the engine for a little while so we could also listen to these two wonderful humpback whales.

Really nice tours again, let’s hope for more during the next days :-).
