Great success with expeditions in Scoresby Sound in Greenland
Hildur our beautiful schooner has recently returned after 5 weeks in Scoresby Sound in East Greenland with out ever coming to harbour. This summer North Sailing offered 4 seven days expeditions on board Hildur in the remote and arctic wilderness of Scoresby Sound in Greenland and we are very glad to announce that all of them were a great success.
During the expeditions in Scoresby Sound East Greenland passengers enjoy some of the world’s most natural wonders in the form of majestic glaciers, steep dramatic mountains, precipitous granite cliffs and whole palaces of icebergs drifting in the deep blue and mirror smooth arctic waters. They also get the opportunity to hike on shore and look at the rich flora and wildlife in Scoresby Sound which is the home of animals like muskox, seals and artic hares. Last but not least passengers feel the magic of the incredible silence and peace one can only experience in really remote places far a way from all human intervention.
It is also amazing how quickly everyone gets used to life on board and pretty soon the group and crew are just like a one big family sharing a holiday together. Our slogan for this expedition in Scoresby Sound in Greenland is “once in a lifetime adventure”.
