Another good day out on the bay

Today we have seen a lot of different whales and white-beaked dolphins. On one tour we headed out the harbour and we immediately encountered 2 humpback whales, very close by the cliffs. After some time with them we crossed the bay and saw a minke whale on the way to the “fish rock” laying West from Husavik, a preferred area for many whales and dolphins. We spend a good 20 minutes with breaching White beaked dolphins and Harbour porpoises before heading into Husavik harbour.

In another tour we had 1 blue whale but this animal was quite elusive and hard to follow, but still, seeing a blue whale is of course very special!
