Amazing Day

Today was absolutely amazing. Not only was the weather very good, but the Whales were fantastic. Funny enough though, it did not look like the morning trip would be too good, we sailed for a long, long time, across the bay to the mountains without seeing anything. Reports from other boats were just the same, no sightings. But we found out why when we came close to the mountains, it really seemed like all the Whales had gathered there. Our best guess is that this must be the best spot for feeding these days so that is why the Whales stay there.

All in all we did see probably close to 10 Whales, two Humpbacks, several Minkes and one Blue Whale. And literally all at once at the same spot! The afternoon trip was really just the same, same Whales at the same spot. Incredible!
