What a day, what a bay!
What a day, what a bay, what can I say!? Well, I can say that I sailed the fantastic schooner Hildur with a fantastic crew (Remy, Martin, Ármann & Hildur) today and yesterday, a total of 4 NS2 trips and it was bloody fantastic! Humpbacks, minkes and dolphins plus Puffin Island so full of puffins in and around the Island that I’ve not often seen the place so lively since I started doing this 17 years ago.
What was so special about those trips is that when you have one of the best handling sailing boat in the world with some of the best whale guides and boatswains in the world, fantastic wildlife and brilliant scenery there’s almost no limit to how much you can satisfy your passengers! Comments at the end of the tours like: “Thank you for an amazing experience”, “This was unforgettable”, “Thanks for a great tour” and so on is what makes you want to keep going out with people after all these years.
