Getting ready for the season
Everything is almost ready for the whale watching season but in the next few weeks the stream of tourists is going to increase a lot. We have been lucky with both weather, whales and number of passengers since we started going out on tours the 1st of April this year.
In the good weather today our employee Christian went around the harbour and snapped some shots of our people working hard on getting everyting ready!

Guðmundur working in Hildur, but she will set sail south berfore the first weekend of June when we Icelanders honour our fishermen with a national holiday every year. And this year Hildur will join the festives in Reykjavík!
Our main ticket office, Vitinn, or “The Lighthouse” is getting a makeover. We have removed the carpets and replaced them with this beautiful wood!

Haukur is ready and anticipating its first trip with passengers this season but we start going on our famous “Whales, puffins & sails” tours the 1st of June. The last couple of nights Haukur has been out in the bay in the midnight sun and the crew making sure everything works as it should!
