North Sailing website wins the Icelandic Web Awards
The North Sailing website, www.northsailing.is, was recently awarded the Icelandic Web Awards. The awards goes out annually, to the websites chosen each year for being excellent in their field or business. The jury consists of professionals who evaluate the candidates based on technical quality, appearance and usability.
The North Sailing website was nominated as one of five sites for being the best sales and marketing web for a company counting 50 employees or less.
The site is developed and built by Blokkin (www.blokkin.is), in a co-operation with North Sailing, and uses an software from Outcome Software (www.outcome.is). At the award ceremony last Friday, guests were invited to a lecture by Simon Collison (www.colly.com) who is, by many, considered one of the world´s top web designers today. In his lecture, Collison mentioned that some websites are, in fact, never finished, they are in constant progress and critically changing. We at North Sailing could not agree more and will continue to develop and refine www.northsailing.is as we have done until now.
