North Sailing in the finals of the Icelandic web awards 2010
The event is organized by the Iceland web industry association www.svef.is. They are a non profit organization devoted to sharing and bringing knowledge to the web industry in Iceland.
The jury is composed of professionals in the web industry and have selected various sites in different categories, as finalists for this prestigious awards and among the finalists North Sailing/Húsavík.
The Icelandic web awards is held for the 10th consecutive year with the aim to promote it, reward the best web designs and encourage those working in this area to strive to its best.
The Icelandic web awards ceremony will be held in Tjarnarbíó in Reykjavík on February 4th, 2011.
The ceremony starts at 18:00 o´clock. A lecture will be held by Simon Collison www.colly.com. Today, Simon is one of the world‘ best freelance web designers as well as developer, author and speaker. His lecture will be on the status and prospects of the web industry.
