Three amazing trips

I went out on three trips today and each one was absolutely amazing. The first one had a slow start, one minke whale that was incredibly busy and had no time to show us itself.  We tried to get a good look at it but no matter how hard we tried we couldn’t get a good look so we decided to take a gamble and see if we couldn’t find something else to show our passengers. Thankfully that gamble really paid off, we found some very playful white beaked dolphins that went bowriding with us, swam under and around the boat. On the second trip we got news about some minke whales on the opposite side of the bay so we decided to go take a look at those. The first one we found was very hard to approach but we still managed to get a good look at it once. We then decided to go a little further and try our luck again. Again it paid off when we found a minke whale that was feeding very close to the surface, rolling onto its side and showing its belly. After watching this minke whale for some time we headed back to the harbour and managed to see one more minke whale on the way. On the third trip we decided to head straight to the feeding minke whale and when we got there it was launch feeding and still rolling onto its side. We watched it for a while again and then headed north where we saw some harbour porpoises and another minke whale. It was an amazing day with amazing shows!
