Flensburg Rumregatta around the corner
Work proceeds on Schooner Hildur in Egernsund as the annual Rumregatta in Flensburg is just around the corner. Masts, bowsprit, davits, booms and gaffs are in place but the sails, 250 sqm. of beautiful white cloth is still in the making in Norway. That means Hildur won’t be sailing with sails during the Rumregatta weekend in Flensburg but it’s likely that she will join the beautiful fleet of around 100 traditional gaff riggers by motor.
