Swells and humpback whales

Yes, the weather got a lot better today. I only went out once to today on Knörrinn with captain Hjalti and it was still quite bumpy as the sea always takes some time to calm down after a storm like yesterday. But the main thing was that we saw whales and I had really a healthy group onboard because nobody got really seasick. I saw at least four humpback whales on this tour but we got three close to the boat. So it was a nice trip despite the deep swells. 

Two of the humpbacks we saw are old friends. I think they've both been mentioned here, one has two large cuts in the fluke and was also here last summer. The other has been here for over a month and I don't think I ever remember an individual humpback whale that has stayed for such a long time without leaving the bay. I think it is getting quite used to having the tourists around.
