Whales again
Turns out I was right yesterday, we luckily rarely have two days in a row without whales. We (me, Hrólfur
and Hörður) went out this morning on Náttfari. It was not nearly as windy as yesterday and even no wind after about an hour out on sea. Around the middle of the bay we spotted a minke whale that was traveling west and we could follow it for quite some time. It always kept the same speed and same direction so it was really easy to just keep the boat going and it would always come up close to us in one o'clock direction. We then sailed quite close to the mountains, there is quite a lot of water in the waterfalls there and the scenery stunning. On the way back then we spotted a second minke whale and while me and the passengers were enjoying our hot chocalate captain Hrólfur spotted the third minke whale but in the distance so we didn't have time to go there.
So I was really realived after this tour after the bad luck yesterday. Christian gave me a few pictures from the tour.
