The first minke whale of the season
Today we spotted a minke whale after we had been sailing for almost three hours. It was really calm and sunny, the bay was just like mirror and it was easy to see the minke whale from quite far away. Before we found the minke whale we had also seen a lot of harbour porpoises, probably around 40 of them or so. Because the sea was so calm it was really easy to see the popoises which sometimes can be a bit difficult as they are quite small and really fast swimmers.
The minke whale came a few times really close to the boat so it was very nice.
