Not just whales!

There are not only whales that delight North Sailing´s passengers on Skjálfandi Bay. Birds, octopuses and even seals tend to catch the attention of guests and crew.

Though, it is seldom that such animals take active part in the excurison in any way.

Earlier this summer a young seagull surpriced the passangers by landing on one´s head!

We are not sure whether the color of the hat had something to do with the choice of landing spot or if the young gull was charmed by the speech of the guide on board.

But we are quite sure the young animal liked the stay since it sat calm on the woman´s head and did not show any attempts to take off.
