So far so good
Almost a month into the whale watching season Humpback whales have been the most common sighting in North-Sailing?s tours. The first days of the season Blue whales were sighted and one can only hope that they will return to the bay and greet the many guests that come to Húsavík and North-Sailing to enjoy the magnificent wildlife of Skjálfandi bay.
In addition to whale sightings the birdlife of Skjálfandi is bustling, the Puffin being the most popular of birds. We encourage enthusiastic whale watchers to book in advance either by calling tel. +354 464 7272 or by sending an email: info@northsailing.is. By contacting us a place for you can be reserved and we can give you information on recent sightings, weather conditions and answer additional questions you might have.
