Great month of May

Since North Sailing started its operation on 1995, the month of May has never been so prosperous. The wildlife on Skjálfandi Bay has been fantastic, with lots of humpbacks, minke whales and dolphins, as well as abundant of seabirds – much more than in the past few years.

The passengers this spring have therefore been very lucky and enjoyed the amazing wildlife. Now we just need to cross our fingers and hope that June will be as generous as May.

Yesterday the June-schedule started and now we operate three whale watching tours daily at: 10:00, 13:30 and 20:15.

The weather forecast for the weekend promises us great weather, warm and sunny. We therefore encourage all travellers, travelling in the north, to come and enjoy the stunning weather and wildlife on Skjálfandi Bay.
