Schedule changes in the scenic autumn weather

As from today North Sailings schedule changes to 1 tour per day at 13:30, and this will continue until the end of the season on the 20th September.

The autumn as started to settle here in the north with the beautiful autumn colours appearing and snow-capped mountains offering a magnificent backdrop to the whale watching tours.

The last few weeks have been unusually successful for this time of the year and for example yesterday North Sailing boats spotted a humpback, minke whales, harbour porpoises and dolphins.

Today brings bright weather with a cold breeze so everyone planning to sail with us is advised to dress in plenty of layers as it can be colder out on the sea than on land.

Sailing on Skjalfandi Bay at this time of the year is especially scenic with the snow-capped mountains as a backdrop as can bee seen on the pictures below.
