North Sailing survey shows customer´s satisfaction
Last summer a survey was conducted among North Sailing´s passengers, on their views and feelings regarding the company´s service standards and issues, such as whaling.
Elsa M. Jakobsdottir, studying sociology at the University of Iceland, lead the project in cooperation with the Husavik Academic Centre.
The survey expressed positive and encouraging results for North Sailing and gave extremely valuable feedback that will be used to further improve service standards and quality of the company´s products. The survey found that surprisingly many of the passengers are repeat customers, some of which come back each year.
Vast majority of North Sailing´s passengers are against the resumption of whaling but still 9% support it. Around 10% of the passengers are Icelanders, but it´s not clear yet, if there is a direct link between those two factors.
The survey offered the option of adding further comments and from this it was obvious how passionate many of our clients are about whales and the whaling issue.
The survey´s report will be finalised in the next few weeks and published on the website.
